Book Recommendations
Some books i would like to suggest reading are: 13 Reasons Why, by Jay Asher; Chomp, By Carl Hiaasen(or any of his others, Flush, Scat, or Hoot); or Swindle, by Gordon Korman. All of these books are very good, but i would like to specifically talk about chomp. First i would like to say I give it a 20 out of 10. I read the entire book in about five hours. The book was amazing, it perfectly portrayed life in Florida for an animal training family in modern times. The main family in this book, the Cray's, is having a hard time getting money lately because the father was put in the hospital when a frozen iguana fell on his head from a tree. The family has many animals in their backyards, including a large 14 foot alligator. The alligator plays a big part in this book because a TV survivalist comes to the Cray's looking for some Florida animals. The man wants to wrestle with the alligator, what do you think? Will the Cray's let him wrestle their most prized possession? Click here to read the first two chapters online. I do highly recommend to read, i feel like the first two chapters explain the book I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did!

A frozen iguana! Sounds interesting...I've never even heard of this book but sounds like a good choice to read. Where did you hear about it? What was your favorite part?
ReplyDeleteI was actually just sitting in a college library waiting for my sister to be done setting up her laptop. So I decided it would be a good idea to read a book.
DeleteWhen i got to the young adults section it was one of the few books that i have not read yet. I think my favorite part in the book was when the group of people were on a swamp island in the everglades and there was a bat causing corruption in the TV crew's tent. It was very funny to read the reactions of the people who had never seen a bat before.
